Tassel dolls were popular around the turn of the 20th century.  They are half dolls with tassels for skirts.

My dolls are made of clay and then decorated with various beads, ribbons and trims and bits of costume jewelry.

These dolls have a Middle Eastern vibe with exotic names and vintage scarves for veils.
