The idea for the nature spirits was triggered by images of fungi that I came across while browsing on the Internet.  I found them fascinating and began to imagine fantastical beings adorned in all manner of fungi, whose purpose is to nurture and protect the balance of nature. This later evolved into the concept  for the Spirit Woods project. Bluebelle, Luna and Agara all played a part in that series of works.   I hope to create more of these little ladies in future.
